Mary Turner is a British photographer specialising in working with communities on the periphery. She is based in the north of England and works collaboratively on long term projects that speak of the difficult times we are living through. Her work is not dictated by fashion or glamour, filters or trends. It is full of love and empathy born of understanding and being part of the worlds she photographs which frankly, is rare as hen’s teeth.

Clients include: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Telegraph Magazine, The Guardian, The Observer, The Times of London, De Standard, Der Speigel, Concern, Universal Healthcare Network, Climate Outreach, Trust for London
